The following selection of wildflower seeds are the most popular varieties, their beauty and colour make them ideal subjects for the garden, sourced from leading British Wildflower seed producers. Sowing time for wildflowers is all year round with best results sowing either March to early May, or from August to September. They are best either broadcast sown into a prepared bed or sown into individual trays or pots. Germinate fine seeds on the surface.

Wild pansy petals are violet yellow pink or white with face markings. Found on grassland, uncultivated areas and gardens. Young flower buds and leaves are used either raw or cooked. Used to thicken soup, a tea can be made from the leaves and the flowers can be used as a garnish or added to salads. Heartsease is best sown in the autumn, but can be sown all year round. Medicinal herb used for cleansing toxins, relieves pain and a healing herb used internally and externally. A magical herb with the powers of magic rain and love.

Sowing Instructions for wildflowers Seeds:

• All year round, but March to early May or August to September give best results. 

• Sow seeds in a good quality multi-purpose compost either in a greenhouse, cold frame or outside.

• Germination can take from 10 days to 3 months depending on temperature.

• When large enough to handle, prick out the seedlings into individual pots.

• Plant out into final position from late spring onwards.

• Planting in autumn will produce slightly earlier flowering than a spring sowing.

Suitable for the garden, allotments and containers.

Be prepared to water well and supplement feed with high-potash feed during season. Regular feeding is recommended.
