Blueberry Top Hat Dwarf plant with a vigorous upright habit. Huge crops of large firm fruits with an aromatic flavour. The delicious berries are high in vitamins and ideal for freezing as they maintain their flavour. Superb display of pinky white, bell-shaped flowers in spring and outstanding autumn colour add to its appeal. This robust and reliable variety is also ideal for container growing. Eventual height: 1½m (5ft). Eventual spread: 1m (3ft).

Easy to grow, produces large excellent juicy blueberries of an appealing blue colour year after year.

Blueberries have become one of the most fashionable fruits to grow. High in vitamin C, they are great for eating fresh or for culinary purposes for quince or jam. This late flowering variety produces striking fruit in August/September. Ht 1m.

Planting Growing Instructions

Blueberries will need to be planted in fertile, acidic soil (so plant with plenty of peat). Plant deep as reproduction/new growths are by underground suckers.

Cultural Instructions

They will thrive with regular nitrogen feeding and like regular doses of manure. They are self-fertile, but heavy crops are achieved by cross pollination between two plants.

Suitable for the vegetable garden, allotments and containers.
Be prepared to water well and supplement feed with high-potash feed during season. Regular feeding is recommended.
