Description

Plant Count: 1

A traditional English variety that has stood the test of time. Produces heavy crops of attractive bright red berries. Early ripening but flowers later than most varieties. Reliable and strong growing.

Season: Early July

Planting Distance: 1.2m (4ft)

Approximate Height: 1.2m (4ft) after 5 years

Currants need a fertile neutral soil to crop well (a pH of 6.0-7.5 is ideal) in full sun.

Supplied in 9cm pot.

Suitable for the vegetable garden, allotments and containers.

Be prepared to water well and supplement feed with high-potash feed during season.

Regular feeding is recommended.
