Lobelia White Lady (Bedding) Flower Seeds

Lobelia (Bedding) White Lady is a bushy, compact type of Lobelia with masses of attractive white flowers with a trace of blue, produced throughout the summer. It is ideal for borders, beds or patio containers.

It will grow to 10-15cm in height. Plant 15cm apart in a sunny position. Water well in dry weather and feed weekly when in flower.

Best grown as a HHA - Half hardy annual. Compact plants covered with tiny flowers throughout the summer, usually grown as edging for beds and borders, often with alyssum.

Culture: Sow January-April under glass in gentle heat. Flowers July-September.

Sow thinly into pots or trays in a good compost under glass at 21-24 ° C. Cover the fine seeds very thinly.

When the seedlings are large enough to handle, prick off into trays in groups of 4 or 5, 5cm (2") apart. Grow on and gradually harden off before planting in the flowering site 15cm (6") apart.

Suitable for the garden, allotments and containers.

Be prepared to water well and supplement feed with high-potash feed during season. Regular feeding is recommended.
