This super heavy duty dense structure, 105g/m² weed control fabric ground cover membrane means weeds are not given a chance. Black in colour with green grid lines to aid the efficient arrangement of plants.

BENEFITS

OPPOTEX 100 is a woven membrane which can be used as both a weed control and stabiliser and can be used in trafficked applications. Allows air and liquids to pass through to the soil. Can be used under decking without a mulch.

• Just strim vegetation to ground level ensuring there are no fibrous stalks which could penetrate OPPOTEX 100.

• Simply lay OPPOPTEX 100 and cover with a mulch.

• OPPOTEX 100 is both a weed control and stabilising geotextile and can be used without a mulch where it will have a life of 7-9 years.

• Overlap 100/120mm at joins.

• Edges best secured by ?Spitting? or ?Trenching? or using Polypropylene barbed pegs.

Its sturdiness makes the fabric suitable for use in the greenhouse & for less intensive outdoor use.
The thermo fixation of the fibres ensures minimal shrinkage, whilst the unique open weave guarantees optimum water permeability & minimises risk of water pooling.
 

 Place under gravel or wood chippings to stop light getting to weeds preventing them from growing through, yet water can drain through.

UV stabilised - therefore will not crack when expand and contract with the weather.
Ideal for paths and walkways, can be walked over and push trucks pushed over.
Not suitable for vehicles.

Use for: Rose & shrub beds, vegetable & fruit beds, flower borders aggregate areas and paths, under decking, under patios, under rockeries and anywhere you don't want weeds to grow. Resistant to UV rays, mildew and rot, and guaranteed against weed penetration for 40 years. Allow air and liquid through, but is not suitable for drainage applications as water will not pass through quickly enough. Please note: certain weeds like Couch Grass, Mare?s Tail and certain Bulbs can penetrate Oppotex, especially if the membrane is stretched when laying.
