We are offering three Tumbling Tom Red Tomato plug plants ready for potting on and growing on in frost free greenhouse or on sunny windowsill ready for planting out as soon as last frosts have passed
Tumbling Tom Red is a trailing type cherry size sweet red fruits with no side shooting or training required, this variety is easy to grow both outdoors and under glass. Height and spread: 30cm (12").
This tomato does exactly as its name suggests it's a genuine tumbling variety and is well suited to growing in a basket. The trusses of small, bright red, cherry-sized fruit trailed nicely from all sides of the baskets. 'Tumbling Tom Red' with the rich red fruit struck just the right balance of acidity and sweetness.
Tumbling Tom Red as a Brix Value 7
The brix Value is the measurement used to determine how much sugar is in the fruit. The higher the value, then the higher the sugar content and sweeter fruit will be to taste.

Be prepared to water well and supplement feed with high-potash feed during season.
Fruit: Red, Small cherry type, 15-20 grams.
When plug plants arrive transplant into individual 7.5cm (3") pots of compost and grow on at a minimum temperature of 15C (59F).
When tomato plants are well grown, transplant into baskets and containers. When all risk of frost has passed gradually acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over 7 - 10 days before positioning baskets outdoors in a sheltered position in full sun once all frost risk has passed.
Spacing: 10-12" (25-30 cm) apart.
